I was out intending to capture wet leaves, droplets and whatever else I could find in the rain-with my Macro Yashinon. I ended up getting wet in the creek and pretty close to a Young Blue Heron loking for fish, unfortunately I only wasn't carrying any longer lenses.

Images taken with my Sony Alpha 700.

Regards

Well I wasn't going to get wet for this Heron, it flew down while I was sheltering in a tunnel.... wrong film (slow), bad light, camera shake all wasted on a great lens Meyer 135mm, but hey I got a picture of a Heron Laughing

I got a good look at a flock of herons this spring. They were following the migration of the gasperau (alewife), every day they'd be at the mouth of a different tributary a little farther up the river. These guys were shy, we couldn't get within a hundred yards without spooking them, although that might have something to do with my 5 year old son Laughing

Thank you all for your superlatives-

@yinyangbt- The Yashinon Macro is a sweet lens, Thanks a lot.
@fuzzywuzzy- they tend to be shy-around humans .
@peterqd-Yes I did see him catching small fish.

@patrickh-No the only fishing I do is on my plate
Very Happy

Heres a few more caught the next day with my Angeneiux 70-210mm f3.5 @f3.5

I am also going to throw in a complimentary squirrel.Very Happy
