The 2nd lens is definitely not a rangefinder lens. I believe it's for an early Zeiss Contaflex SLR, or similar. |

This lens I need help from you guys here. What mount and what camera it used for ? There is not aperture blades nor focusing helicoid.
There is mount behind it.

Looks similar to the Tessar 50mm F2.8 lens on my Zeiss Ikon Contaflex Super SLR.

No and No.
This lens is just an add on to the cameras own lens system.

Hi Kris,
Unfortunately no. The Contaflex had a system where part of the lens was permanently fixed in the body, along with the aperture mechanism, and only the outer elements were changed. So you have an incomplete lens.
Other cameras of the time used the same system, like the original Retina Reflex. _________________ I like Pentax DSLR's, Exaktas, M42 bodies of all kinds, strange and cheap Japanese lenses, and am dabbling in medium format/Speed Graphic work. |

No! Get yourself a cheap Contaflex which is missing its lens, and shoot away _________________ Peter - Moderator
