After several roll expired Velvia 50 (35mm) I believe this film is rather ISO 25 than 50 even with fresh one too. What is your experience ? _________________ -------------------------------

Not really, most of the time I shoot RVP at ISO40, because the Velvia needs longer developing times compared to Provia, Astia and Kodak films (10% more time with the first developer). That's what I've found out.
This is the case with Kodak or Tetenal E6 chemistry, but not with Fuji Hunt E6!
That's very interesting, with Fuji Hunt E6 the ISO50 rating is spot on. Also the colors are much better with Fuji Hunt chemistry.
Perhaps this is the reason for the controversy between Velvia shooters.
Some of them send it to Kodak labs, others to Fuji labs
I've seen a lab datasheet from Fuji, with a written recommendation for Velvia and Provia, using only the Fuji E6 the bath (no other Fuji Chrome films were mentioned). The colors and density should be better.
I know that's strange, because E6 is a standard process.
No difference between the old Velvia (RVP) and the new Velvia 50 (RVP50). Expired RVP can have a magenta cast.
So when you are sending the film to a Kodak lab, rate it at ISO40, when sending to a Fuji lab, rate it at ISO50. _________________

Well for what it's worth: I often develop two E6 films at a time to save on costs, and often times it will be a mixture of Kodak and Fuji film. Thus, I don't have the luxury of using different dev times. So I always dev for 6:30 for 1st developer @ 38˚C.
With those times, rating Velvia at ISO25 is *perfect* I've found. _________________ Sony α7R, Pentax 67II, Kiev-60, Hasselblad 203FE, 903SWC, Graflex Norita 66, Mamiya M645 1000s, Burke & James 8x10, Graflex Pacemaker Speed Graphic (4x5 and 3x4), Century Graphic (2x3), R.B.
