Beautiful catches, Laurence, clicking for the larger file is a treat. Velvia
rendered the purple in the kale most handily with excellent detail of the
raindrops. Have a 2nd roll of Velvia I need to send off today. |

The color you get from the kale is better than Kate Moss' color however. _________________ -Jussi

Thanks Billl! I noticed that I scanned at a lower resolution - 600dpi -
than my normal 2400dpi. Oh well, my brain is NOT what it used to be.
I was certain that the kale would be a great candidate for the Velvia that
I had left in the camera, because of that rich color.
I took your lead and clicked for the largest file...it DOES make a difference. _________________

Well Jussi, Kate Moss certainly "fruited" on the cocaine for a while; but I
DO have to give her credit. She rehabilitated, and went on to continue
to make a lot of good career choices. I think, and hope, that she is well-
grounded now. It's got to be tough, being a big celebrity all of a sudden,
for a lot of people.
That said, I agree! The kale color is certainly more colorful than Kate! She
still looks kinda pale to me. _________________

Thanks Orio! Although I think I'll scan it again at 2400. I think that will
make the details more discernible.
