I really like this little camera, especially with the fold-out LCD. I just used
enlarge for focus assist, will check about peak focusing, see if that helps.
The lens looks pretty weird on the camera, got some looks at the nursery. |

It is a metal frame kept with screw in tripod mount , you can't tilt LCD without remove it. Viewer magnetic connected so easy to put an take off , I use it all time except if need to tilt. Viewer has magnify I see LCD screen like a big TV on wall very handy to check fine details while focusing. _________________ -------------------------------

For NX100 I have Minolta MD, M42, and Konica, been buying a few adapters, lately. |

Bill , I suggest to use this :
http://www.ebay.de/itm/LCD-Hood-Protector-Monitor-Blende-fur-Sony-NEX-3-NEX-5-/261099834645?pt=DE_Foto_Camcorder_LCD_Blendschutz&hash=item3ccac34d15
I use it , it's foldable so , when not opened it makes like a top over the screen. And , on top of it, allows the flip of the LCD , wich is very good .I use in sunny days without any problem , but then , I set the LCD to maximum color and briliance and I have no problem focusing (and I wear spectacles) . For critical focus , I allways use magnifier(first step) + peaking .Works pefectly allways.
The focusing aid used by Attila seems to be a good one , but it's bulky and doesn't flip , this is why I didn't bought one .
If you're very peaky about protecting gear , I'd suggest slipping a piece of paper over the screen before closing the hood , sometimes it can be slightly scratched by the folding lateral pieces of the hood , if you removed the protective foil from the LCD
The hood can be is placed or removed by simple pressure in a second . _________________ Cheers , Teo

I took down the one from the factory , didn't liked how the rendering with it and didn't bothered to put another one .
Flipping up is essential for me .I learned to handle the nex and now it's really fun : grab it by the lens ,focus from the upside on flipped up screen , like on a TLR .I don't understand why some can't handle comfortably the nex .For me ,it came instinctually, effeortless.
Even in these last months I messed up more with film cameras ,I like very much the nex _________________ Cheers , Teo

Using the Nikkor-O 2/35 lens...I know Orio has said this isn't the sharpest lens, but if you're dull
like me, even a mediocre lens will seem sharp.
There was a squadron of fairies that flew over and sprinkled sparkly fairy dust over a
lot of my pictures. I thought it was kinda cool for maybe 30 seconds, then the moment
passed. No, I haven't been drinking.
This morning I tried to take a pic of the black angus behind my place and one of them told me to p--- off.
