This is a grayscale conversion from the Ferrania 200 colour film.
I love the way this film converts to grayscale: nearest thing I know to real B&W film.

Contax G2, Sonnar G 2.8/90, Ferrania 200 colour film converted in Photoshop:

Yes, I like how it converts in SEP, and this is a fine example!

why don't you shoot b&w directly then ? i don't think that converted color has a better grey range than a real b&w film.

Nothing personal : )

I do use, develop and print B&W film on my own. But it's hard to do that when in the camera you have loaded a colour film Wink

Thank you both. I think they carry feeling because they are true. I did not attempt to take any pretentious "artsy bokeh" stuff. Just to render the atmosphere of this place (the countryside of the plain of river Po) as it truly is, on a very normal autumn day, no embellishment, no lie.
If you who have probably never been here, can perceive something, it means that I hit it. That is very nice to know Smile
