This afternoon (well, yesterday's afternoon) I went to Piacenza, and whenever I go to Piacenza, I have to take this specific photo of one of the Farnese bronze horses in Piazza dei Cavalli, I am really obsessed by this image.
Some of you probably remember this scene from other Piacenza series of mine. I made several tentatives over the years, it is a difficult scene for a number of reasons.
Differently than the other times, this time I am rather satisfied with the result. May be because of the the day light, or because of the snow providing an accent on the shapes, or simply because of the Biogon 2/35 Wink I don't know. Smile

#1

(M9 camera, ISO 1250, 2/35 Biogon ZM at f/5.6 aperture)

In the next days I will post some images from the two film rolls I also shot today (no, no more horse statue pictures Laughing )

I usually shoot that horse from the opposite side, having Palazzo Gotico as a background.
Never thought of this angle, really nice, and the church in the background (San Francesco) is probably my favorite in piacenza.

Thanks guys.
Klaus, I think you are probably confusing with Pienza (which is indeed a beautiful borgo).
Piacenza is in Emilia, in the west of the region.
