Fantastic shots, Andreas! As usual.
I love the way you see the things, small parts of them and compose the images in your mind.

Excellent colours.

But is your Tak 1.9/85 fast enough for you?
I'd prefer my Nikkor 1.8/85. Wink Razz Laughing *run&hide*

thank you Carsten
also happy about you liking the colors, I am happy that by now I also like the colors the K-x produces, well, most of the time Wink

naa, that hardly makes a difference Laughing

on one hand I think, how boring if I already had the best lenses and camera, it's much more fun to slowly grow through upgrades
but then again, if you had told Canon EF 85mm f/1.2L II ( ok, AF ) on a 5D II, I would consider accepting the gift Mr. Green

Stunning photos...and beautiful people.I like the simplicity of your shots focusing on the foot with the three flowers... Very Happy
That lady in the blue dress is an interesting shot...how did you do that?

and I hoped Carsten that my answer made clear that I had understood Laughing

but on second thought you even may have had a point:
When I bought this lens I had the choice between a S-M-C 1.8/85 for more than double the cost or this Super Tak f1.9 for a bargain price.
Who knows I just might have gotten a Nikkor f1.8 for the same prize as the S.T. f1.9. But then again I would have to convert it to M42 or live with it badly fitting

yes, many beautiful people here! death thank you so much for your very kind words, they make me a bit proud.
You are living in Yogyakarta, one of the very most beautiful and historic cities in this huge archipelago country Indonesia, with Merapi vulcano, great 9th century Borobudur Buddhist and 50 scattered Prambanan Hindi temples so near. What a place!

oh, that lady, only her dressing in color was easy: in Lightroom desaturating all the colors but blue and purple.
The more difficult part was getting her in focus, models walking brisk towards me with only sometimes a spotlight hitting them..didn't get many pics right Wink

best greetings from Bali, Indonesia

Andreas

The others are good also, but the first one just jumps out of the screen!

thank you very much Thomas and Kathmandu for viewing and commenting!

Very Happy Orio, thank you..
to tell you the truth, as much as I like using manual lenses, I am often simply satisfied if the focus is about right, but think that I could concentrate more on getting the 'right moment' using an AF lens. But then again, who knows how exactly the AF lens would focus where I'd want it to.
