One of the photos that I am preparing for my Facebook page... Here I present to you the "before and after",
because I think that this photo shows well what can be done with just the tools of Lightroom 3.
No Photoshop was used, except for the frame:
(lens used was Planar 1.2/85)

the photo (almost) as it came out of the camera (in fact I did recover a bit of shadows and highlights):

Orio, you have fallen deeply into the "pro" category...
What outstanding shots, they seem taken for a fashion magazine!
Perfect lighting, composition, razor sharp...
What else to say?.
Perfect shots.

Regards.
Jes.

Another nice one. She is very pretty.
I like the stronger black point and the crop is very well placed .

If I was to nit pick there is one thing that I thin would be more natural.
If you could use a desaturation brush and carefully lessen saturation for the tear duct of her right eye, her right ear, and under her right nostril.
The red is a little "hot" in those area and detracts from her elegance.
My 2 bits Smile

Risky pose that could look uncomfortable or contrived. You guys nailed it though!

Thanks Dani! We used a large umbrella as main light on the top left, a weaker softbox for fill at 90°,
and a terrible neon light on top that somebody erroneously turned on and which now forces me to remove
green accents from the hair in almost every picture I edit Mad
