Bad ebay seller xiyizii / e-bay store: e_digitalbusiness

Short version: bought lens for $499.99, got bad lens, returned it, received refund $400.-


Why bad ebayer?:

1) wrong description (bad lens)
2) asked for positive feedback, would not refund before.
3) didn´t refund the full amount

i think no 2 is a violation of ebay policy, you should report it, whether ebay will do anything about it is another matter.

Don't know if you can still open a case, but it might be worth trying.

He excluded me from bidding just for question why he had so expensive shipping from Canada - USD 111 (?)

I do not care whether it's true or not - he should reply - it's 111 USD and that's it - but he had blocked my for any bidding in the future!!

A place not to get PK to Leica R converters cam.plus.
Bought one that won't mount to PK as in won't rotate past the red dot alignment. Not worth the hassle of sending back for refund as the purchase price sucks up any refund you mght get.

Usually, these cheap mass produced adaptor will suffer from copy variations. It will not be a big problem on some adaptors but it will be a big problem for conversion adaptors.

Attila, I use a PK macro tube set for checking adapters including the converters. This one is a definite dud, besides not turning in the mount it doesn't even sit flush. Perhaps the chroming was done too generously, who knows.
Calvin, a quick check of those mount adapters to ensure a proer fit would be a great idea, something that would take all of 30 seconds.
I'm going to need to remove some metal from the inside of the adapter anyway as the mount is for a Telyt 560 which has cams that interfer with the mount and I want to keep the lens in as near to original condition as possible. Ordered another one from a seller I sourced one through previously with a better product.

Bid is contract to pay. Report excessive ship charges to ebaY. Was ship charge shown in listing? If so, you broke contract by refusing to pay. If ship charge not in listing, report excessive ship charge and open dispute, seller broke ebaY rules, you will win dispute, ebaY will ding seller, but you probably won't get filter.

Apologies if the transcript offends anybody but the whole incident is so outrageous i had to share it with you all.

Please read bottom up

Background is - i bought 3 bottles of Eclipse sensor cleaning fluid from this seller on the 28th of july [Beendet: 28. Jul. 201120:29:31 MESZ] and paid on the 1st of august as i was travelling around europe

[Item Total: $20,97 USD. Shipping: $17,85 USD. Total amount: -$38,82 USD. Date: 1. Aug 2011. Status: Completed].

Of course, the payment was instant and the seller got the money within a few minutes on the 1st of august itself.

The total cost of items was US $20,97 and the cost of First Class USPS shipping he/she charged me was US $17,85!!! But since i was leaving for Shanghai for 2 weeks and i wanted to clean the sensor urgently, i paid the First Class shipping cost

Going by the paperwork, the German customs got the packet on the 6th of september and took a few days to do the sorting and sent me the notification to pick the packet up on the 9th but by the time i got there, they were closed so i had picked it up the day i left you the feedback

This is FAR from the typical FIRST CLASS shipping delivery time from the US to Germany

And you have the cheek to call me a nasty buyer!!! Had you really been such a "friendly and kind ebayer" as you probably convinced yourself that you are, you would atleast replied to my question and given me a status update

Shit happens. Maybe you usually are a nice guy/lady but in this case, things went south and you chose to ignore rather than to communicate. In the end, it was 3 bottles of sensor cleaning fluid, not some life saving items but it's your complacent attitude that got you the negative feedback.

Thanks for your negative feedback, but next time don't lie about the truth. "Item did not take one week to post" .. YOU took one week to pay for the item. We shipped out the item on August 1st, which is exactly the date your funds cleared our paypal. Also, you saw when it was posted, so you knew it wasn't our fault for the delay in shipping. It left our postal branch on August 1st (THE SAME DAY YOU PAID FOR IT) and the United States on August 3rd. German customs held up the item as you would have seen when you received the package. The dates are clearly marked on the outside when it arrived in Germany. If you look at our shipping record & feedback, we're one of the fastest shipping for international items on ebay.

Hopefully you won't be such a nasty ebayer to future sellers when buying international.

I recomend you avoid this seller/buyer on Ebay " coolpix***** " Darius Gholipour of Smethwick
Buys and doesn't pay for items and ignores your emails also accuses sellers of selling him faulty goods when they are either perfect or the seller listed them as faulty and he thinks he can put a claim in for a new one very naughty indeed
Be warned!
ps He has now changed his Ebay Feedback to "Private" to hide his nasty dealings with sellers by leaving very bad feedback when he's very obviously into dodgy deals + use's many I.D's Google his name .

His name has cropped up on MANY internet forums (used to be called "usedcameralenses" )

not very nice way of doing business for a Chemist Shop? hmmmmmmmmmmmmm Evil or Very Mad

best thing you can do is block his Ebay I.D on your Ebay sales so he cannot bid or buy your goods

I "bought" a Tenpa eyepiece magnifier from Apexcam on November 2nd, still haven't received the item. So I went and visited APexcam's page. Something has happened to this guy. He has received 11 negative feedbacks during the past month for failure to ship. So I haven't waited any longer. I opened up a case with eBay. Hopefully I'lll see some resolution in this matter. Meanwhile, stay clear of Apexcam.
