if any questions banquieroderua, please ask !! before you sell your SUPERB FLARE RESISTANT lens -- Distagon 4/18 -!!

this lens (possibly) DOESN'T have a competitor in FLARE resistance and also is PERFECT for FLASH and doesn't have ANY FRINGING -- I would say the fringing is somewhere out of EDGES -- well controlled -- easy to be removed or simply ignored -- same as the CA -- easy to fix ..

IMPROVED by trifox Smile

no probs Smile

it's a huge pain to find it in endless ocean of ebay sellers -- but worth of the effort ...

one more thing -- when I was trying the MM Distagon 4/18 on 5D MK II -- I stick a tape on the rear glass --
I would recommend you to do the same

no worries -- tape is safety .. it won't damage the glass ..Smile

Even better - do as I did: cut a small piece of PecPad tissue (but any clean cotton tissue will do) slightly larger than the diameter of the rear lens, then take a piece of masking tape that is a bit larger than the tissue and apply the tissue on it. Then, apply the combo on the rear of the lens, taking care that the glass will only be in touch with the pecpad.
This will give protection and at the same time avoid contact of glass coating with glue (which is never a nice thing, due to the chemicals of glue, although masking tape usually has little glue over it). Smile
