No, I use it with Liveview, it's a lens that I always use "posed" anyway, I don't go around with it hanging from my neck 
it goes from the bag to my camera and then back in the bag again.
But most of the time I simply use it on the 5D on which I did shave the mirror. I rarely need the full resolution of the 5DII for my purposes.

Assuming thats FF, distortion looks to be well controlled, excellent results.....I hate distortion.

Well, distortion is surely there, but everything is relative... what would be a bad distortion for a 20mm lens, is a little distortion for a 15mm rectilinear.
