I am working on a new series. I am documenting the disappearing jobs, those activities which until now survived in a world that doesn't need them anymore.
I open the series with an old bookbindery workshop in Parma, the Aroldi bookbindery, located in the narrow alleys of the old town.
This is the shop on the outside, following is a portrait of the owner and his workshop.
Technical data: Zeiss Ikon, Snapshot-Skopar, Kodak Tri-X 400 developed in Ornano Gradual ST-20.
I hope you can enjoy the subject as much as I do. And thanks for watching. Smile

Great idea and well taken. I guess he realises that business is dying so he is checking which horses to bet on! Laughing

No, that's the most I could get from him, when I asked him if I could take the photo, he did not want to be in, then I asked him if
he could stay so he got back doing what he was doing (reading the news).
But on second though, I am happy with the situation. He was not working when I showed up, he was reading the news. So the photo
is not lying, it is telling the truth.
He must not get much work these days, so I think the situation fits well in the theme of "dying jobs".
