Which kind of darkroom thermometer is better (precise/fast/reliable/etc. ?)

Cosmin, I have one of the Kodak thermometers. It has a printed cardboard scale inside a glass tube and even though it is probably accurate, it seems very cheap and poor quality.

I use a Paterson thermometer:

Didn't stuff it to the tank but measured the room temperature. Accurate enough:

the second one - or something like it - for mixing chemicals etc. For my 'bath' - that's the tank I stand the chemicals in to maintain the temp' and also for the cpe2, I use an electronic fish tank thermometer.
