Here are some images of what I feel is a nice combination. Thanks to
the unbelievably kind benefactor of the lens, I have a bulletproof
kit here, that is a marriage between the robust steel of the camera (a
Chinon CE-4 clone) and the detailed beauty of the awesome CV90 lens.

I use the Revueflex (Chinon) almost exclusively for manual lenses. I
love its full manual operation, and its "heavy" steel chassis, mirror
lockup, and DOF preview, along with the capability of using a meter
to confirm exposures that are attempted in tough highlights and
shadow situtations. The camera originally took a mercury battery, but
I have been getting accurate exposures when needed, with a hearing
aid battery.

This "old box" of a camera is perfect for my
hikes and easily withstands the rough usage it gets. Of course,
I will take good care of the CV90. Wink

Christmas gift extraordinaire

Outstanding balance between Revueflex and CV90

Very nice looking and permits the making of great photos too (on the other thread). I thought these were Leica screw mount, are there other mounts available?

great looking combo.
I assume that your copy is M42 thread... great catch. My copy is Nikkor, and while it's still great, I'd have preferred a M42 mount if I could find one.

This is an close focus Apo Lanthar 3.5/90mm SL lens:

(in japanese language, but easy to understand, scroll down...)

the "SL" differentiates it from the (older) Leica thread mount version which looks quite different:

Looks formidable Laurence.

Orio
I have the nikon mount too, but I like that since I mainly use my D200. But I also have a nikon/eos adapter so I can use it on the 40D as well. Best of both worlds

A very rare mount variant of that lens!
Not sure if that also has a built in chip like the 125mm EOS version.

that lens was ' professionally converted to Canon EOS mount'. so it is not a factory built lens. It is unlikely to have full control like the EOS version of the 125/2.5
