Me too! My first trip to Norway was on a family holiday in 1975. We drove from Oslo to North Cape and back and I fell in love with the country. I've been back three times since.

Yes, it's pretty amazing (and expensive) experience IMO
You can always take out the best parts if you have a tight budget.
We went from Bodø to Tromsø with "Hurtigruta" (translate to fast route, but it's not really fast)
