I'd been waiting for long time and recently bought Contax 167 MT instead digital camera to try my Contax lenses ---

I took Distagon 18 --- pictures 1-4

...and Planar 1.4/50 AE --- pictures 5-9

The weather was MISERABLE !!! Totally ... all shots wide open...

but the Contax 167 MT is magic ! Thanks to Andy for useful advices! Smile

and loaded the Fuji 100 film and ---
used the cheap scanner HP 4850 ---

so it was quite difficult, but after playing in Photoshop and generating in LightRoom I did this gallery. took ages...

I have done some film rolls before but this is the first set for the MF lenses forum Smile

thanks Attila ! Yes I'd wish to go to Spain -- must be nice --

but there is one country I would imagine to live because of a perfect climate...

I have been to this country and it's quite dangerous to live there but it's nice;;;

South Africa...

Thanx Andy!!!

167 Mt is GREAT!!! And sounds great!! I love that sound of the shutter -- it is unmistakable sound!

I released the shutter before I went to sleep last night Smile without a film Smile ;... several times.. Smile

Yes, I am looking for a transparency film to load it ...

I have done several rolls with Hassy --- waiting for the opportunity to get the EPSON V750 ...

I've come to totally respect your imagery, TF. These are magnificent, especially for the first-time roll! There is some exquisite bokeh in these, and the compositions are the "usual TF wonderful".

wow! congrats for this series.
#2 is impressive, I don't always like tilted shot but this one is superbly composed!
#4#5#8#9 are also my favorites
congrats for the 167MT, a nice little cam
with such weather 100 iso doesn't seem the best choice but you made marvel in this bottle of whisky

Congratulations Trifox.
Why complain about bad weather?
Bad weather is better weather for cities.
Cities are nicer under some rain. Some of my best city pictures are "wet".
It's sunlight that reveals ugliness of cities.

About film, I think that the bokeh of Planar 50 looks better on film than it does on digital.

my favorite shot in the series is # 6
