Yaaaay! got it Nex 5k for £250, 30 day no quibble moneyback and 12month warranty. Charging up as I write. Going to work in an hour so I'll have a play later!

30 secs max then bulb on the 5k too

in automatic modes the max. speed seems to be 30 sec. without bulb being available, in M mode only, once it hits 30 sec., it changes to "bulb"

I couldnt imagine bulb being on any of the auto functions anyway. My dslr is the same.

you are right, thinking about it bulb in auto mode of course doesn't make sense!
