I would like to know good camera shops in Hong Kong.

Going there on january and might grab a 5D mark II from there and maybe some mf lenses if there are some good shops which sell them.

Any information would be helpful so I do not need to search myself.
I have 4 weeks of holiday but I do not wan't to use whole time looking for shops Smile

I know here are people who know's the place.

+1 for Alex.
He lives in Hong Kong, and he's a very helpful and friendly person.
I've purchased several items from him, and he's helped me with a rather uncommon tripod upgrade issue.

As Attila mentions, he may be out of country now. I haven't noticed his presence here as of late, but he always comes back so we can hound him about all sorts of stuff. Wink

Send him a PM; he will respond as soon as he is able to.

I sent him a PM.
Will have a chat with coffee with him. Smile

I will stay in HK couple of days when I arrive and before leaving.

Don't know where to fly from Hong Kong yet.
Need to decide it some day... Maybe Indonesia or something Smile

Also visiting the China would be quite easy. Just need to pick up the visa first.

I did some research also on camera gear in HK and they seem to be quite cheap compared to many places in my country & rest of europe.

5D Mark II bodyt seems to be around 1600 - 1700€
Canon L lenses are quite a lot cheaper too but not so easy to bring home without paying tax so I do not buy any Wink

I do not even need any of them... Just thought about selling them Very Happy

Wait for my post tomorrow... (its 3.20 am here and I am sleepy), I would share some of my expereiences as a foreigner scouting for photo equipment in HK just a year ago. Yes, Roland Lim is a good guide.... I was there for 3 weeks and was not dissapointed provided you know "what and where". I am sure Alex would have given you a fantastic idea already.
