Rather hesitant to post these with all the excellent shots I've seen lately,
but here goes. Keep in mind that my shots make the truly excellent ones
of others seem that much better! Laughing It's a contrast thing rather than a
comparison...

Those are very nice Bill. I love the reflections in the second one.

I like the kodak gold 200 also. I think its the best of the neg film I've tried.

It's a really impressive little camera. My neighbour had one many years ago, and the quality always stunned me. Such a "big" camera in such a small size Very Happy

Nice reflections, really nice. So difficult to photograph well, but you have achieved it Cool

Great stuff Bill. I had the Oly OM4 for many many years and loved the results. My film of choice was always Fuji, which I found to have better colour than the Kodak (hated that blue tint). But you have come across with some very true looking results

They seem both excellent to me Bill. I love the composition in both pieces. The second one is almost "musical", if you know what I mean. It makes me think of music.

Thanks much, guys, for your comments!

Ron, Kodak Gold 200 is <$2 a roll at Wallies, making it cheaper than
Arista color from Freestyle.

Graham, the XA is a lot of fun to use!

Patrick, I want to try some slide film in this little cam next. Thinking
about Velvia 100 for the nice green spring shots I want to take.

Orio, as a former musician (well, I still play, but nothing like I was lol) I
appreciate your sentiment and agree! Wink

The XA is such a nice pocket camera to use. I put few films through mine last year and enjoyed every shot even if the results were not that good!
I think you have captured a nice atmosphere with these shots. It really looks like a bog.

Wow, Bill, superb shots!.

I'm liking the Oly's (specially the XA) more and more every day.

Nothing better to carry permanently on.

Kind regards,
Jes.

Lovely shots, particularly like the second shot.

I think I still have one of these somewhere. I might dust it off and have a go with it again. I pack a Minox 35 instead.

Very nice! It reminds me of when I lived in Louisiana

These nice cams are getting up and up in price recently. I've been long time after one of those, after my friend Paco lent me one during a weekend. Now the standard price has become around 50€ (pp excluded) when one year ago it was around 18€...

Kind regards,
Jes.
