Hello guys --

Inspired by this forum - too many members use film perfectly..

I got a light box and did a quick setup: EOS 5D MkII + Makro-Planar 2.8/60 + tripod + light box
and some slides..

and result is here -- it's easy and MUCH QUICKER (scanner is propably better Smile
.

I photographed these slides ! And results surprised me enough !

Pictures 1+2+3 -- Taken with Hassy 500C and Sonnar 4/150 (sold both Sad
film:
Provia 100 = pics 1+2, Velvia = picture 3

Pictures 4+5 - Contax 167 MT + Distagon 4/18
film: Velvia 100

Please, any comments will be appreciated...

Note that nice dust on that pictures Smile

Thanks for looking

tf

I think good as a scan. Keep continue shoot on film even if you have best DSLR setup.

First and last ones are both excellent for me. Especially last one is a "wow" picture.

Last one is my definite fave, like the smooth bokeh in 3. Nice work, TF!

thank you, guys!

I'll be doing more films -- it's a fun at least Smile
and also this procedure is DEFINITELY FASTER than scanning.

The quality may not be as good as scanning with a porper scanner but PP is going MUCH FASTER.

I think it's enough for previews such as these ..
