I'm not showing 100% crops from the photos because the details didn't turn out as good as I hoped yesterday. Maybe next time.

Orio, why is "Gelios" used for this lens and not "Helios" ? I know that the Russian name is "гелиос" but I've seen the Cyrillic script on various versions of the "Helios-44" which is rarely described as the "Gelios-44" (or is it ?).

Not sure why, John. Maybe because Helios sounds Greek, and western people with a culture can relate to the name.
In any case, the Russian writing spells Gelios, so I think it's correct to write it that way.
