Yes, the dog is the only subject. The people is there only to provide the context and as a counterpoint.
Doggie was obviously frightened by the noise and he perceived that I was the only one person there who would relate to him
and how he was feeling. Hence his soulful gaze I believe, which pushed me to take the photo. The world of dog and the
