Hi
I had a nice chance to try this lens out.
It is a manual focus lens for Contax 645 camera system - medium format.
The aperture requires the body, otherwise it won't work - it's fully controlled by the camera.
Well, I couldn't mount the lens on 5DMkII properly because I have no adapter.
I had to attach the lens to 5DMkII by hand and hold it - very awkward
impressions - vignetting virtually doesn't exist, colours pleasant, CA and fringing controlled, sharpness great
contrast great - maybe a need an adapter - I had a light leak inside sometimes but that's because I held it by hand
a few samples

3 - A BIRD
4 - A LEAF

No lens will outperform my S-Planar f:4 100mm. I have an outstanding copy. I know I`m biased.
But I want that one badly. Have to look for some money. _________________ Moderator Himself |

One other such lens seems to be the current 2/100 Makro-Planar ZE/ZF.
Amazing specs that do translate into real results. _________________ Νίκος • www.diafragma.gr
