I have one person selling this one. I know almost all Angenieux are rare and pretty good lenses but I don't know anything about this zoom.
It's for Leica-R system and it is like new. I think that it could be very expensive right?
If someone knows it better please drop a line |

I don't remember where, but some time ago, I read a rather detailed review on this lens. It didn't perform much better than the Nikon, Canon, Vivitar Series 1 lenses that were availble at the time. As I recall, I remember thinking to myself, that you are paying for a name, not performance. And yikes! Isn't it a two-touch model?

I searched for some pictures on flickr and I saw amazing results to be honest.
The bokeh is amazing. Very creamy. The sharpness is hard to confirm because the images are too small.
I won't do any type of crazyness with this lens. I only took it if the seller does a nice price. I'm not rich anyway |

I found another one in Nikon Mount. I sent an email to the seller.
Both of them don't know how much they want for the lenses.
I'll try to get both. |

Fixed luminosity f/3.5 70-210 zoom, sounds like a no brainer for me if the price is good. If you don't like it, you will surely find someone who wants to buy it from you. _________________ Orio, Administrator

along with other 60 - 210 mm Nikon mount primes and zooms.
The Angenieux 70-210/3.5 seems to be not bad but not spectacular either, quite soft at f/3.5-4.0 _________________ Markku

Hi Lazzaros -- forget it -- If you want a good 70-210 zoom..
This is an expensive option but you know
Go for this
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Contax-70-210mm-f3-5-Vario-Sonnar-T-Zoom-Lens-Minty_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQ_trkparmsZQ7c293Q3a1Q7c294Q3a50QQ_trksidZp3286Q2em63Q2el1177QQhashZitem27aa5b2e3cQQitemZ170361826876QQptZCameraQ5fLensesQQsalenotsupported
good luck..

~But I would recommend to make more investments in lenses they have aspherical elements (especially fast) --
you need to mind your backlights and strong light conditions --
so any flare resistance is very appreciated in your work ...
As far as I know: I can have a good picture but someone from creative department of some agency (which can be your potential customer)
can not use it because is not good for retouching .. -- too much harsh light..
Camera is not an issue -- put all your money in lenses -- that makes a sense..
You don't have to have too many lenses -- be focused on your needs and then buy a camera ..

I'm not really "interested" in the lens since I'm using Contax 645 now.
I'd like to buy it if I see a good deal in it.
Than my girlfriend takes it or I could sell it later.
For now I'm really interested in one digital back for my Contax 645 |
