Great macros!

The carpenter bees are good guys, I have lots of them around my house, Differently from wasps, they are not aggressive at all. They buzz around and do their stuff, I do mine and leave them alone, and we live together peacefully.

Great series, no. #2 and #8 stand out from all the rest for me. And somehow I find #1 disturbing. Smile

PS - can you share some details about your postprocessing? Colour and contrast look really great.

Excellent!! The large purple black "wood bees" as tehy are called here, are rather rare but I like them; pretty and not agressive at all.

There is nothing particular in post-production, I use Image Data Converter (the Sony software) for the RAW.
Using Gimp if I need to increase contrast and sharpness .....
The colors of these pictures came out well on camera, I have not touched, I think colors are TRIOPLAN ...
