A beautiful native of North America, the dogwood is in full flower in my area right now. For those of you who do not know it - here is a sample

Beautiful indeed, is this a common three all over North America or just parts?

Found pretty much all over the northern part. Grows wild in most woodland areas. In the native forest it is amazing to spot a patch of brilliant white/pink through the foliage when they are in flower in late spring.

Thanks Patrick for the Dogwood pictures.
We have Dogwoods in Europe too (different species of course), but they don't have such a gorgeous flowering as yours.
