Well this is my first photo post in quite some time. Now that we have spring weather, I have no time to shoot during daylight ( but for boring work photos). So I went out at night Smile Here is a photo taken during last weeks full moon. It is about a six min exposure I think at f8. I wanted to let you see it before I do some PP. The two squiggy lights on the right are planes taking off or landing at the nearby war-machine base.

I like this very much, especially the amorphous clouds.

It really looks like taken from an airplane, impressive.
It really feels like you can perceive the globe, not a flat land as it normally seems.

If this is a cheap parlor trick to seduce us into thinking this is a great
picture, well, it worked wonders, Andrew! Love the lighting and the
clouds in this!

Congratulations to the great photo. At first view like a twilight photo.
But at 6 min exposure it must been very dark.

Excellent shot. Besides straightening it out a bit I wouldn't pop it too much as it's really nice as it is.

Embarassed Embarassed Guess what. This was not taken with the sigma 14mm. It was dark and I had three cameras on tripods and lost track. This morning I wanted to take the film from one of the other cams to finish it in my new Bessa. The other camera (yashica) had the sigma 14mm on it. The full frame 14mm shots will come with finishing and developing this roll. Which means this one was taken with my Viv/Tokina 17mm f3.5. The only other in the bag that night was a J9 and this shot is not a J9 shot. This is very embarrassing but considering the conditions an easy mistake to make. So here you go Carsten. This is the same lens you just purched. Vivitar with SN starting 37 . Embarassed Laughing Embarassed Embarassed
