The Spiratone lens is the same as one sold under many other names, such as Bittco Vemar, Coligon, etc.

I speculated earlier that this may be by Nittoh, but "N.K.K." may also refer to Nihon, which is yet another maker with a longer history of using this brand. Still a mystery really.
This is an exceptionally fine lens. I subsequently made a PK mount for mine. _________________ I like Pentax DSLR's, Exaktas, M42 bodies of all kinds, strange and cheap Japanese lenses, and am dabbling in medium format/Speed Graphic work. |

What about that letter "E" at the end of serial number... Wouldn't that signify Sankor? _________________ ---------------------------------

About the "E' - no idea.
That E business is just a guess based on serial numbers from Sankor lenses of a somewhat later generation (I'm guessing its later due to the difference in style and design). It may be correct. _________________ I like Pentax DSLR's, Exaktas, M42 bodies of all kinds, strange and cheap Japanese lenses, and am dabbling in medium format/Speed Graphic work. |

As for the name Coligon, I have an Aetna Coligon 100/2.5 which is a Sankor (I had the Mayfair Sankor 105/2.5 - same lens sold to Jes). These both also had the E serial, so it's possible this is also a Sankor. _________________ Graham - Moderator

Good lens. |
It has the larger diameter (than T2) Tokyo Koki adapter mount too. Unfortunately for me I sold another lens with the only adapter I had. _________________ ☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮ like attracts like! ☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮☮
