Lens is cool since it covers FF and little beyond (like 1.2x). That makes it very useful for TS adaptation. If you remove middle barrel and join front and back parts together directly you get a bit wider angle without additional distortion (check photos before after).
One would need to cut away 2mm material on the back for easier TS use. Now if you glue back of lens with EOS / M42 adapter without any space that gives you exactly infinity.

The resolution of the Visionar is good enogh for high ISO digital Bodies, it is about 10 µm within the 20mm center circle and gradually falls off to 20 µm at the edge of a 30mm circle. It was designed for 35 mm projection (large cinemas, drive in typ etc.) format with approx 18 x 24 mm, half of the full frame Leica format.

Sadly mine had lots of fungus and although I managed to clean it, the golden coloured coatings on the rear surface have been mostly etched away. I haven't managed to get really sharp results from it.
