I like much the first 4 colour shots, and all the geese.
The first B&W photo on my screen shows with large blocks of blocked blacks where any detail is undetectable.

I like the last portrait too, although I would like to know why everyone was so nitpicking with one of my portraits some time ago where the model
had a couple of stray hair (blonde and almost invisible) in front of her eye, and no objection here Laughing

Wow! That's some amazing stuff! I really wish to try out a rangefinder camera some time!

Laughing thanks buddy Smile. btw, you're a very loyal zeiss fan. I like all lenses, I have no brand loyalty. For example, the industar-50-2 is one of my all time fav lenses Wink
Leica have great resale value and it's like the bugatti veyron of lenses. If you can indulge yourself, why not. The performance of the lenses isnt too bad either Laughing

Hmmmmm it is very dark on my screen too but it's not fully black ... I haft a see this on other screens cuz its the second time you say this about some recent b&w shots i posted. on my MacBook pro and the iPad it seems to be very dark but not black. Thanks for telling me this Orio!

Some of the geese just had babies and it's pretty adorable how the mother tries to scare you away with hissing and expanding her wings

Will try to get some good shots of the little ones soon

Thanks mate! The sonnar is an incredible lens. One of the classics from the Zeiss family and the new ZM version has the latest T-coating which results in ultimate dreamy look alongside great contrast and flare control

Wow! Much better than I expected! Some minor tweaks like the better coating seem to give it the extra kick.
Very cool series but last potrait is cleary my fav.!

Thanks mate Smile the rangefinder isn't the best camera for such photography but it can deliver if challenged

I had the old version, pretty sure it wasn't a modified Jupiter - it was a great lens but had a lot of scratches on the front element and heavy coating loss

I was contemplating a summilux 50 asph when I came across Steve huff’s comparison of the summilux 50 asph and the new ZM sonnar 50/1.5 - the Leica did seem to have smoother details in the out of focus areas but I liked the sonnar rendering better and the lens is smaller and also lighter if I remember correctly

Not to mention, the money I saved will go into the Nikon D4 fund

Thanks buddy!

the ZM Sonnar is an insanely good lens! the T* coating is incredible, it's brilliant in terms of flare control, contrast and the lens is small!

the killer bokeh from this lens needs no introduction ... of course, bokeh is a matter of taste but to mine, i love it! smoooooth!

Beautiful, from the first series to the last.
I tried M9 once, not used to focus with finger. Your shots are awesome.

There is no tab on the lens, there is a weird bump though. Not my favorite but you do get used to it.

In the bigger scheme of things, once you get used to focusing with a rangefinder, going TTL again is a major pain in the ars*
