G'day all

I've got a huge bunch of EXAKTA and M42 lenses.
Which (non-expensive) DSLR could/should I buy to utilize them all
(with adapter) up to infinity?
Would like your opinions on this..........

Ron

4/3, Sony-NEX,Micro 4/3 , Samsung-NX are trouble free, infinity spot on, no adapter problems.

Canon infinity can be problem with Exakta and sometimes with M42 too.

M42 works with any digital system include infinity support, except NIKON.

4/3 and m4/3 kill fun at wide angle range 2x crop!

From all above I suggest Sony-Nex , affordable , virtually can mount anything excellent high ISO range and pretty good in wide angle range too.
It has one negative, no finder ,need to set focus on back LCD, there is a useful work around.

Interesting topic. I'm looking for a old dslr too.
Can a Pentax crop DSLR mount Exakta lenses.. or it will require a modification to the body?

I think Sony SLT cameras. At least this is what I would buy now.

Sonys won't take Exakta directly, you'll have to mess about with the mount or use step up / down rings etc.
