Today I won on ebay the wide angle lens 5.6/58mm for $120. It is already
on its way. The only other lens I'm after is the 180mm. I can skip the
135mm, but the 180 is great for portraits, flower close-ups, etc. Hope to
post some pics by Tuesday night if not sooner, will spend the extra
money and have them processed locally.

That would be very nice! I hope wide angle lens will be enough sharp.

The pics I saw on flickr from this lens convinced me to get it.

Ah, that last shot of the girls is just great! Pretty nice colors from the 400H!

I'm happy with your excelents pics.

The lens is so good as expected to be. Konica is one of the better Japanese lenses.

Lovely daughters. Sure, lot of boyfriends (I hear your GRRRRRR Evil or Very Mad ).

Well, the history of all of us -the fathers-. Congratulations

Rino.

I have a Konica on long term loan from my brother in law. Nice camera, though I'm not so used to shutter priority automation. Really I should take it out more.

These are super photos, and one of your daughters looks very much like my sister did, at the same age. That 85mm on the other hand doesn't look like my sister at all, but sure seems like a great lens.

I don't know how I missed this thread. Very nice pictures and excellent scanning work. My favourite is the two elephants picture.

For many years, I used A Konica Autoreflex T3 with a 24/2,8 and 85/1,8 as my own set.

Great. Rino.

My sister, not daughter Wink I realised I don't have any good photos of her on flickr from back when... in this she's a bit younger than your daughter.

Olympus Pen FT, taken around '72

Meanwhile, as I've read photo magazines from the late 60s and early 70s, I've been struck by the high regard Konica had then. When talking about the heights of cameras, after the couple of German makes they'd usually mention Konica before or alongside the big two Japanese makes.

I think I need to scan some vintage ads and articles for you...
