Nesster, do post those magazine scans. Konica was the first optical
company in Japan, they were around way before Canon and Nikon.

I think I am missing a trick with these Konica lenses.

What would you recommend as a good reliable Konica camera body?

I'm fond of the Konica T4 for its big bright viewfinder and compact body
for packing around. Meters don't work in the two I have. Real men use
the sun at their back during the day, and the moon and stars at night for
settings. Wink Smile Laughing

I had some Konicas. The best in my hands was the T3 (mirror lock up, double exp bottom, and smooth mechanism. Really a silk cam). Be carefull: near of the 30% of the konicas that I tried, had this problem: the shutter open and close before the cam was ready to shot.

I had not try the FC1. Attila is very happy with it.

Rino.

Thank you! I think almost any 85mm lenses are exceptional , but some of them above others like Biotar 75mm f1.5 I really wish to try this Konica on DSLR and compare with my other ~ 80mm lenses.
