Wow! Fantastic shots Tobias! Ready for National Geographic.

I'm a novice at stitching and your pics blow mine away. I assume you have the camera in manual mode and keep the same settings for every shot. Do you average the light meter readings?

Thanks very much !

I am doing my panoramas very fast. Everything is done in manual mode, handheld. First I shortly analyze the scenery where are the lightest parts of the decided shot area. Then I do a test shot at this spot and correct exposure mistakes. Then I leave this setting for the whole process.

Mostly outdoors I shoot with f11 and about 1/200. That works perfectly in sunlight conditions and remains foreground details sharp. With polarizer I am try at f8 and 1/200 firstly and correct if necessary.

You should do overlapping of frames in about one third of a frame.
Most of this shots contained between 12-35 frames each.

Depends on the situation I do 2-4 rows in either landscape or portrait format.
For beginners I recomand landscape format, it's easier to overlap horizontaly.

The stiching process itself is easy due to very developped geniouse programs which are easy to hadle. It was definitly diffent and more difficult in the "old days".

Cheers
Tobias
