Today I tried out:
1) Oreston 1,8/50 on Oly300
I think it is a very decent lens - pretty sharp, nice colours

2)Tair-11 2,8/135 on D70
I really like this lens - I find it very sharp, nice OOF and excellent colour.

Congrats, Patrick!. Both look nice, but I like more the Tair's sharpness and colours.
How does it compare to the CZJ Sonnar 135?.

Two fine lenses! Congrats!

I agree, the Tair-11 is a fascinating lens!

Jes

So far I prefer the Tair, but I dont think I have given the Russian Sonnar (Jupiter) a proper run for its money. Frankly I am amazed at the performance of the Tair, simply because I had no idea of what to expect. I bought it because Orio and Attila both made very favourable comments on it. I am glad I got it and I think it will finish up as one of my favourites.

It was an excellent purchase! I'm sure that you will take many wonderful pictures thanks to these lenses. I am satisfied from my Tair-11A. My cousin has Pentacon (Oreston) 1.8/50, it's also very nice lens.

Congratulations0 I'm liking my new Tair too. Being able to get infinity focus on a nikon is great.
