Trying out this lens today and here are a couple of iris pics. These are
"volunteer" iris, I don't do anything and they keep showing up in the
spring:
Shot at f3.5 and f5.6.

Beautiful Bill - my wife calls these flowers "Flags". You were very clever to catch the bee in the picture! |

Peter, I've heard them called "flags", too. The bee was blind luck, both
of us were fighting wind that was blowing from right to left in the pictures.
Roy, no, it's the Super-Takumar, doesn't have the SMC on the rim of
the lens. I've heard the SMCs are the best, but this lens isn't a disappointment.
Got it for $21 with UV filter and case on ebay.
BTW, nice avatar!

Outstanding pics! One of the best flower pics what I ever seen, congratulation! I have both version of Takumar 135mm , no difference between them or perhaps Super-Takumar is better. Most of the people are like multi-coating even if not better at all. CZJ MC lens going on higher price than single coated, but single coated good as multi coated especially in close-up or tele photo , because no reflection. You can see pictures with both version in mflenses.com/gallery. _________________ -------------------------------

Thanks for the high praise Attila, but I have to tell you, I'm not much in
to flower pics. It was just something to shoot at, is all. I'm very happy
with the performance of this Tak! I'll check out your site for these lenses.
