I still try to like this lens, it was after sunset but those lens are made for that
last time I used it wide open (click here) and was not satisfied, this time at f2, next time I will try 2.8
but when the night get dark I take the distagon 35 1.4 (all WO 3200 iso 1/50s )

Lovely set of images poilu. I like the Rokkor images. I think it is a good idea with all the very fast lenses to stop them down when there is strong sunlight. Like you said, that is how they are supposed to be used. The f/1.2 is a tool for low light shooters, not for bokeh nuts _________________ Orio, Administrator

fast lenses are not for low light shooters anymore
take this shot, it is taken with the rokkor at f1.2, 3200 iso 1/8s
the fast lens didn't help, the pic is blurred with ghosts
with a f1.4 the speed would have been 1/6s and result about the same
with the latest bodies, I could have taken this pic at f4 1/100s 102400 iso
the quality should have be much better thanks to the f4 and 1/100s
but even when the bodies will do 10000000 isos, only fast lens will give extra bokeh
fast lenses are for bokeh nuts
