A question, is there an adapter to use contax lenses on a pentax?

The difference of the registered distance is about 0.04 mm (C/Y=45.5 vs. Pentax=45.46)
So, only mount change (definitive or reversal) could help I think.

Interesting (even if you don't read Chinese). A couple of Nikon conversions in there too.

At least this conversion of a Topcor 58/1.4 is no longer needed Smile

Had my eyes on a zeiss 180/2.8 with contax bayonet.

Better wait for an M42 version.

They are very close in performance. The only real advantage to the Contax lens is the size and weight which are about half. Especially for a Pentax camera, there is no reason to spend 100 Euros more for the Contax version, unless you plan to use the lens for mountain hiking, in which case yes, the contax version is recommended.
