I found the last three photos years ago. As I dimly recall, I was doing a search on press photographers or old cameras being used -- something like that. I don't know who the little girl was, but it was with the pic of Gerald Ford I found (the one just above it), so perhaps she was related in some way.

But I agree, the photo does reveal the grungy underbelly of the press corps, doesn't it? Especially that guy standing in the far right of the frame. He looks especially sleazy to me.

Yet, it's a powerful photo, and tells a story on several levels, I think. I'd like to know more about the photographer that took that photo.

I think probably the ultimate image to be found that shows photographers within the image is this one taken by David Bergman, using a Canon G10 and a Gigapan at the January 20th, 2009 inauguration of BHO. The result was a 2GB photo, some 1,474 megapixels in size. Now, what I've always found interesting about this photo is the people and stuff you can find in it. I think it's fair to say that the number of photographers visible within this photo lies in the many hundreds, and most of them are shooting with BIG lenses.

Like these big guns, for example, to show just a few:

But here's a crop I especially like. Yoyo Ma taking a pic with what looks like his smartphone:

And a very interesting family of distinguish photographers , using film ... The gentleman has a Leica reflex seems to me (R8?) and a very serious monopod . The lady's compact camera ressembles to some compact Leica too ?

Seems indeed a beautiful Leica R8 .Don't know the lens .Any ideas ?
