This is one of my preferred portrait lens even if mine is still labelled Meyer (Oreston).

Look at #1 how well it renders the subject without exalting every little skin blemish. In #2 it also shows that detail is here, just with low micro-contrast. And the colors and bokeh are Meyer's typical, 'nuff said.

For me too, I completely agree with you.

Attila why don't you post here that portrait you made of Anna when she was lying on a sofa or something like that.
It is -in my opinion- your #1 very best portrait ever made. And I remember it was taken with a Pentacon or Meyer 100mm.

It's made with Pentacon 100, but doesn't matter they are same lens. Except Meyer has better built quality.

Attila, I confirm this is your best ever potrait.
The lighting is PERFECT - like masterpiece of ancient painter.

Laughing Thanks!

Meyer has better built quality than equivalent Pentacon lens have. To found problem free Pentacon 100 very hard to do. I found lot more good copy from Meyer.

I forgot to ask, is this lens the same as Meyer trioplan 100mm?
Maybe not, not too many of 100mm I saw from old Germany.

Attila

That is a complete knockout portrait. I agree 100% with Orio - it may even be your best ever photograph. Absolutely stunning

All are great captures, Attila! It is very hard for me to believe your wife has
teenage daughters! Whatever fountain of youth she is using, you need to
start using yourself! Laughing
