Olympus OM 18mm f3.5 just arrived today in MINT condition , what a small glass like an 50mm f1.8 ! Weather getting more cold Sad I hope I can test soon, really hard to wait. Tomorrow I expect to get an Carl Zeiss Sonnar 180mm f2.8 MM lens. I can't control myself when I saw Orio's superb carnival pictures. I guess I am really addicted...

(Esp. the 18mm Zuiko would be a nice addition to my collection. Wink)

Perhaps 18mm has better place at your side I am not really a wide angle fanatic. I suppose my favorite focal length is 135mm.

Nice Attila
You should not " test and sell" the 18 3.5 That is a fantsastic lens. When I get one I will never let it go ever. Conrats to you!

Congrats, Attila!. Nice lens. With your Oly, the pictures would be equivalent to a 35~36mm on full frame, that is the focal length I use more...
How close can you focus with it?.

Looking forward to see the first shots.

Enjoy it!,
Jes.

Perhaps, but if I were you, I would not sell this lens. If possible, keep it!
They do not show up often for a good price and in mint condition.

Olympus glass is still amazing these days, I have the 2.8/8mm fisheye also and that is one wonderful lens especially when used with a suitable adaptor on EOS DSLRs. I don't have pics online right now [pic (c) Jone Quinn], but here is some info about it from Leo Foo's wonderful site(s): http://www.mir.com.my/rb/photography/hardwares/classics/olympusom1n2/shared/zuiko/htmls/fish8mm.htm

Cheers & Happy Easter!
