In conditions poor light, meniscus generalizes details

Images are very unique, not Leica, not Zeiss, more like oil, water-color paintings... Very beautiful!! Love the artistic characters...

I am so glad no-one said they're "out of focus..." or zooming in to check their sharpness... Very Happy Wink

while back i did convert my beat up copy of helios 44-2 to meniscus which supposedly makes lovely 80mm, by removing all the glass elements except reversed rear one. did play with it extensively but must admit, my pics didn't turn out as good as these. Good job!

Beautiful pictures.

I think Goldmark means that he (we) would like a lot to see your Equipment : lens mounted on your camera with some comments about the lens and way of mounting and use it.

It looks very prosy - Industar 50/3.5 without lensblock and one meniscuslens from Jupiter 8 replaced rear lens block Industar 50/3.5
