I believe these pictures could be nice on canvas to get some texture on top

Very nice. Maybe too strong an effect for portraits but still I wonder how it might look?

A very interesting series of photographs, are these lenses cine type lenses? If not where are they usually found, projectors perhaps?

Hmm, interesting stuff. Portraits have a wet plate quality to them. A little pp could really bring it out.

That last shot of the house is deliciously haunting.

Sources for meniscus lenses are various. But none are hard to get. Some desirable ones are on old Kodak folders, FPK's using 127 film particularly as they had shorter focal length. Longer focus ones were on 120/620 Brownies, etc.
I used just a closeup filter, that's a meniscus lens. I have heard of people using magnifying glasses. You could also check with Anchor Optics for any FL meniscus you can think of. Use them wide open for super soft or if you make a stop for it it would sharpen up. This is a very easy field to experiment in.

GoldMark, nothing special. One rear lens projection lens Triplet 78/2.8 turned and left in place, the rest removed. Photo maybe later
