Simply magnificent, Patrick. What a GREAT combination, and viable usage of the bellows. The yellow flower simply JUMPS out of the background. I stared at it a very long time.

This kind of output is, to me, wholly professional looking. Incredible sharpness, vivid color, and your patience in setting these up has really paid off in the WOW factor.

I love them.

Excellent result. I assume you used a non-macro lens. My preference goes to 1 and 4, for the more contrast.

Bug is also nice but I can not look at them Confused

unfortunately I don't have the patience to use tripod. I shot handled and with the wind we have here tripod would not help.

macro have always nice bokeh and it is not representative of normal photos

rodenstock rodagon have been reported as the best macro lens, even better than Leica Apo-Macro-Elmarit-R 100/2.8 & Contax Makro-Planar T* 100/2.8
At web size you could not see the difference and I used sharpness for the wow factor Embarassed

Come on those animal are 1 to 4 cm, I see your photo & you look quite strong; all those small animals would get heart attack if they ever meet you

today lucky one shot as we don't have many bugs at this season

Great shot! They seem to be friend.

I know bugs are small - they still give me the creeps though. Laughing

Animals are not friend, they just live together. Something human should learn about.

shot 5 min ago - 1/125s handled F5.6

This is not true. Great shot, however. Really deep DOF for a f/5.6

Wow! This one is astonishing! Shocked

It's seems like a starting line of a race between the two bugs. Incredible!

Come on, show us more. Very Happy

I also love my Rodagon, but outdoor shooting, also non macro, with bellows is a little bit bulky. Therefore, I want to buy this little close-up mount from german Zörk company. BTW it´s expensive (119.- €).
