Not long ago I bought a Konica Hexanon AR preset 35mm 2.8, and someone had changed the mount ring into a home-made f mount (thread here: http://forum.mflenses.com/strange-konica-f-mount-t82644.html ). So I am in search for a ring and the 4 screws to change it back to the original one. If anyone has an old AR mount Hexanon lens that is broken, or just destined to be a donor, I would be interested. I only need the mounting ring that is screwed in the lens barrel with 4 screws in the back side. Preferably from an old Hexanon from the same period (second half of the 1960s), but this is probably not "mandatory", I imagine a later year lens could also be good (we could measure it exactly to find out). |

I think the quickest and cheapest way to get such a ring is to buy a third-party K/AR 2x teleconverter (Vivitar, Soligor, Kenko, etc). These things often go for $10 a pop (EDIT: Wow! they did go up in price since last time I checked!!). You may need to drill new holes in the ring if the existing ones don't match the position of the holes on the lens, but this is an easy thing to do. Here is a good candidate: https://www.ebay.com/itm/154068147341?hash=item23df2d5c8d:g:YIQAAOSwbW9fTVUB _________________

Thanks, Konicamera! I had thought of that. In fact, I am following one on eBay from continental Europe, but I was just throwing it out there in case someone had an old/broken one to spare (for a price, of course). Not in a hurry anyway... |

@Zamo, is this resolved, or are you still looking. I am fairly certain I have a Konica lens that came in a box of assorted equipment I bought a while ago ... If you still need one, let me know and I will search for it. |

I am on it now, not sure if it will work, though. I sent you a message (pm). |
