'My' 2.8/135mm seems to be of about the same vintage than the 5th version of the 105 you had linked, is that right?
I have taken the first test shots with the 2.8/135 today, wide open it isn't good but just one stop down it looked quite good. Rel. poor wide open also might be due to damaged glass, specially around edges it looks quite bad. BTW. it came with it's case and viewfinder included, should add a photo of those
I am very curious how this 3.5/ 105 shall perform
and even more so how your f2/105 shall perform

The 2.8/135 is the same as the SLR version with different mount.
I think you will like the 3.5/105. It is a capable triplet with its own character.

I think Komura use the exact front part but not the Canon. The optical block of the 2/105 can be screw off easily http://www.bigeye.url.tw/big5/d_komu105_2_2.htm .

in the meantime I had picked up another copy of the 3.5/105, body looks the same with less brassing and it has a different, later looking lettering on it's name ring. Test shots show quite a different rendering, I suppose it's mostly improved coatings. I plan to add o photo of it ( but the lens is not with me now and it will take a while )
