All wide open, lot of processing to improve contrast

And a non scientific comparison with the distagon 35 @F2
same processing in pp: autoWB, auto exposure

HI.

All are nice, realistyc, and with good composition.

My favorite, the 3. I love the composition, with the nice relation between the dinamism at the back and the stillnes of the central couple.

Thanks for them. Rino.

Thanks for your nice words!

This post is about the Kiron 2.0
It's a nice lens that I got for 31£
It's 10x cheaper than my distagon 35 1.4
For me, it is not the same class
But for place like that, I prefer to use the Kiron

Great pictures. I have the 24mm f2 vivitar version (made by Kiron). I've never really used it but I might just have to stick it on my D200!

thanks for nice comments

#4#6 are at 1/15s
#5 at 1/8s
as I don't have anti-shake on the 40D, it is not the best way to judge a lens
when I shot the little kid with the kiron, I really regret I didn't had the zeiss mounted
I came back after 5 min with the distagon but the scene was gone
anyway, I have great pleasure using any manual lens; I just like to push the shutter and the result doesn't really matter

I dont want to start a new topic. Here is my share of test photo of kiron 28/f2 MC. The color is quite fit my taste.

Shot at recent Italian Festival in our town.
