There are many versions of this lens. At least a Silver Jupiter 8, Black Jupiter 8, 8M and MC Jupiter? And all in different mounts.
Is there a real diiference between them or is it like with Helios 44?
I've also seen a 53mm F2 Jupiter 8 - is it identical with the 50/2 _________________ I'm not a collector, I'm a tester

Agreed, nice job Karabud! So an Exacta to EOS adapter doesn't work?

I would love to see this lens in a direct comparision test wide open and stopped down to F5.6 to a more modern lens like any Minolta MD 50mm, Canon FD 50mm, or something similar. I had some bad M39 Industars so I went careful with Rangefinder-Russians.

Exakta?? This lens is only avaible for Contax- and Leica M39 mount as far as I know
It won't work on any actual Canon DSLRs without serious modifications.
Or did I miss something? _________________ I'm not a collector, I'm a tester

Compared to Minolta 45/2 wide open only, here in very poor light.
