Second dev with the Paterson reels/tank with Arista Premium 400 film.
Grain is really pronounced in these:






I used the same developing method as the TriX 400, same times, everything.

Nikon 4s with Sigma Mini-Wide

Nice composures, 2nd especialy. But how grainy Shocked i don't have such grain with a pushed @ 1600 film ... oh well . nice work

Hexi, thanks for your comments. The one thing that was different is when
I was pouring one of the baths back into the bottle the funnel lifted
slightly on one side. I wasn't paying attention and during agitation the
funnel became unlocked. Had I clamped it down on both sides with hands
it wouldn't have mattered. Perhaps it exposed the film to where it fogged.

Just trying to figure what might have happened. I'll shoot another roll of
this film and see.

#3 looks best.

That's about the level of grain I get. I'd consider it normal if I didn't see other's results.

yes film looks a bit too grainy
But exposure/development is good, you have all the tones there, although in printing these would need at least a contrast 3 paper in my opinion.
